Team Profiles

Roger Perry is the Mid-Atlantic’s foremost expert on Solar Thermal applications. He has spent a lifetime in the solar industry installing and designing thousands of commercial and residential solar systems.
In 1978 after pursuing a degree in Solar Technology at Cabrillo College in Aptos, California., his career began at FAFCO Solar Systems (Sunnyvale, CA) where he managed the installation of over 400 solar pool heating systems. After moving back to Annapolis, he became Crew Foreman then Vice-President of Maryland Energy Systems before founding Perry Energy Systems in 1986. Roger has installed, serviced and designed the majority of solar thermal systems currently working in the Maryland area. Starting in 2000 he spent 5 years as the Facilities Manager of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Phillip Merril Environmental Center; the first building in the world to receive LEED’s Green Building Platinum award. In 2006 Roger established Solar Energy Services. His focus today is the management of all SES's solar installations and transferring his extensive knowledge and experience to up-and-coming solar installer/designers.

Rick Peters holds a mechanical engineering degree from Marquette University and an MBA from the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business (1993). Prior to entering the solar industry, Rick’s 9-year executive leadership position in Sales and Marketing of an IT Company was instrumental in growing the firm of 14 employees to more than 100. His previous positions build a broad base of experiences including: civilian engineering project manager in submarine silencing for the US Navy; and various manufacturing management positions for a Fortune 500 packaging manufacturer. Rick’s lifelong support, both professionally and personally, in environmental concerns coupled with his extensive experience in logistics, sales and marketing puts him at the forefront of executive leadership for Solar Energy Services, Inc.

Lisa Walsh has worked in the solar industry for the past eight years with a focus on marketing and project management. She serves on the Board for PRSEA and has been active volunteer with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation for the past several years. B.S from Towson University
Brice Keegan has a lifetime of experience as a contractor in various aspects of residential and commercial building. His enthusiasm for the solar thermal industry is a welcome trait. He has been installing and servicing solar PV and thermal systems for the past two years.
Robin Peters holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Vermont and an MBA from UMD's Smith School of Business. She has 15 yrs of sales, marketing and project management experience with a number of Fortune 500 companies. Her extensive experience coupled with her holistic approach to matters of sustainable-living choices makes her a vital member of SES's management team
Katherine Dominguez is an experienced project manager currently studying Business Management and Marketing. Her administrative talents at Solar Energy Services, Inc. are focused on residential and commercial project organization and managment as well as marketing.
Tyler Griffith has worked for Solar Energy Services for the past four year and has installed hundreds of solar heating systems in the Maryland/DC area. He has also serviced many more including out-dated hot water systems. Currently, he heads up an SES crew focused on commercial solar hot water project in Washington D.C.
